What “La Naia” Means

Our Founder

Maithili Shenoy is a global retail and supply chain leader, founder of La Naia Collective, and creator of the Regenerative Retail framework—a new model for how brands grow responsibly and profitably. Over three decades of experience spanning leadership roles at Nike and Target, she built and led multi-billion-dollar global sourcing and supply chain organizations spanning a wide range of categories including apparel, footwear, pets, baby, essentials, health, beauty, wellness, sporting goods, electronics and home.

Through La Naia Collective, Maithili now partners with consumer brands, private-equity firms, and founders to design resilient operating models, strengthen on-shore and near-shore supply networks, and apply AI-driven decision tools to improve margins and reduce waste. Her approach blends data, design, and purpose—helping companies move from linear efficiency to circular, regenerative growth.

A frequent speaker and advisor on sourcing transformation, sustainability, and leadership innovation, Maithili has been featured at various conferences including Reuters, Zero100, Columbia University, and Executive Platforms. She also leads immersive leadership retreats under The La Naia Way, translating regenerative principles into personal clarity and organizational renewal.
